I’m excited to finally announce that I’m releasing my debut single this fall. I’ve spent a long time trying to get this all together (yet it feels like too long and not long enough at the same time), but I’m so lucky to have worked on this with an amazing group of talented people. The long scroll of thanks will have to come in a later post.
Teens in Trouble at its core is just me, Lizzie Cuevas. I write music, play guitar and sing, and have been since I was in high school. I started Teens in Trouble last year in order to fill the music-shaped hole in my life, after my last band – an 8-bit chiptune rock duo called The Glowing Stars – called it quits in 2012. Prior to The Glowing Stars, I was in a punk band called Sputterdoll. I just like making stuff! And rocking out. And I have a lot of emotions, probably.
Teens in Trouble just wrapped up recording and mixing at Different Fur Studios last week and are just counting down the days between mastering and release (planning a lot of cool stuff in between, so bear with me!). More details to come on that. In the meantime, please follow Teens in Trouble on the internet!
